Project: Halloween Twitter Reminder
never.no Helps UKTV Drive Social Audiences To TV Broadcast With Twitter Reminders
never.no partnered with UKTV to power a Twitter reminder service for their Halloween premiere of ‘Demon House’ on Really Channel.
UKTV excited audiences in the lead up to Halloween by using social media to drive viewers to the TV broadcast. To promote the first UK airing of the Horror documentary Demon House, the network shared Tweets about the film which directed viewers to reply to the post to receive exclusive updates.
People were eager to keep up-to-date with the Halloween special and used the hashtag #Trick or #Treat to receive their reminder from the network. never.no’s STORY platform was used to aggregate the social content and our personalised auto-response feature was used to deliver the messages to fans who participated.
On Halloween everyone that was engaged with the campaign received their personalised Tweet reminding them to tune-in and watch Demon House that evening.
There was a great reaction on social media during and after the premiere with fans taking to Twitter to share their thoughts of the film. Check out the Twitter Moment.
