Project: Target Holiday Campaign
Telemundo, the largest producer of Spanish-language primetime content for audiences in the US and around the world, partnered with Target for the first-ever ‘“Celebremos Juntos” holiday special which aired on Sunday, Dec. 1 on Telemundo.
At the top of the show, Telemundo hosts shared what makes their holidays special with a fun and heartwarming photo selection. They then asked the audience to share their very own holiday photo for a chance to win a $1000 Target gift card and to become part of Telemundo’s Holiday special.
To participate, viewers submitted their festive holiday photo via Facebook and on Instagram using the hashtag #asifesteyojo. All submissions were entered into a special casting for the opportunity to have their photos featured in the live commercial.
Using never.no’s Social TV advertising platform, Sync, Telemundo producers aggregated viewers’ submitted photos before incorporating the selected photos into custom created on-air graphics in realtime.
At the close of the designated segments, hosts presented the four winning photos that were followed by a Target spot. Each of the winning families had their wishlist fulfilled, receiving gift cards just in time for Christmas. Target also awarded 40 additional winners with $25 Target gift cards.
