never.no helped USA Network and Red Lobster to celebrate real modern families by running a social sweepstakes during the network’s Modern Family marathon.
In the lead up to Friday’s 6-hour programming block, USA encouraged their social followers and viewers to share their family’s “Lobsterworthy” moments for a chance to see themselves on TV.
Viewers shared photos of how their family celebrates using hashtag #LobsterworthSweepstakes for a chance to win a $50 Red Lobster gift card or see their photo live during Modern Family.
never.no’s social moderation platform STORY was used to collect and moderate the incoming social content before publishing to broadcast and digital.
A selection of viewer-submitted photos were shown during the Modern Family marathon. Additionally, all submissions were displayed in a digital wall on the USA website.
Social sweepstakes such as this are a great way for broadcasters to engage with their audiences and seamlessly integrate sponsorship into the content.
