Today we have announced never.no has agreed to a partnership with Singapore-based 1-2-1VIEW to develop sophisticated digital signs with which viewers can interact in real time using their mobile phones.

By combining 1-2-1VIEW’s expertise in signage and audience measurement with never.no’s unique interactive software platform, the partnership will yield IP-based, flexible, viewer-friendly digital signage systems that provide advertisers useful demographic and geographic information about consumers.

“This unprecedented and powerful platform will create an engaging experience for consumers while also satisfying a need in the digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising market,” said Alfred Chong, CEO of 1-2-1VIEW. “In a short time, the statistics gleaned from interactive digital signs will become a powerful tool for advertisers, enabling them to target content ever more precisely and cost-effectively.”

Besides merging technologies to develop a new signage system, never.no and 1-2-1VIEW will become sales channel partners for one another’s technologies, according to the new partnership agreement.
